Lewis Hamilton , British Formula One Racing......

Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton,[3] MBE (born 7 January 1985) is a British Formula One racing driver from England, currently racing for the Mercedes AMG team. He is the 2008 and 2014 Formula One World Champion.

Hamilton was born in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.[4] In December 1995, at the age of ten, he approached McLaren team principal Ron Dennis at the Autosport Awards ceremony and told him, "I want to race for you one day ... I want to race for McLaren." Less than three years later McLaren and Mercedes-Benz signed him to their Young Driver Support Programme.[5] After winning the British Formula Renault, Formula Three Euroseries, and GP2 championships on his way up the racing career ladder,[5] he drove for McLaren in 2007, making his Formula One debut 12 years after his initial encounter with Dennis. Hamilton's contract for the McLaren driver development program made him the youngest ever driver to secure a contract which later resulted in a Formula One drive.[6]

Coming from a mixed background, with a black father and white mother,[5][7] Hamilton is often labelled "the first black driver in Formula One",[4][5][7][8][9] although Willy T. Ribbs tested a Formula One car in 1986.[10] He is also the first driver of black African heritage to win a major race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in any discipline.

In his first season in Formula One, Hamilton set numerous records, while finishing second in the 2007 Formula One Championship, just one point behind Kimi Räikkönen. He won the World Championship the following season,[11] becoming the then-youngest Formula One world champion in history.[12] Sebastian Vettel broke that record two years later. Following his second world title in 2014 he was named the BBC Sports Personality of the Year. He is the only driver on the current grid to have won at least one race in each season he has competed in to date, with McLaren from 2007 until 2012, and with Mercedes since 2013. He has more race victories than any other British driver in the history of Formula One and is currently 5th on the all-time list, with 36 wins...

The Batmobile Spotted On The Set Of Suicide Squad

We’ve heard rumors that Ben Affleck’s Dark Knight Detective would make a cameo appearance in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, and now we have further proof of that.

Instagram user Terence Yip is in Toronto, where filming for the highly-anticipated villain team-up is currently underway, and he managed to snap this pic of the Caped Crusader’s iconic ride:

That’s definitely the new Batmobile, which will make its debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of JusticeWith many Batman villains – including Deadshot, Killer Croc, Harley Quinn and, of course, the Joker – already confirmed to appear in the film, it comes as no surprise that the Caped Crusader himself would show up at some point.

Previous rumors have suggested that Affleck would appear as Batman via some video footage that Amanda Waller shows the Squad. It could be that the Batmobile has a starring role in that footage as well, or, this new photo could mean that ol’ Batsy has a bigger part to play than we thought.

With production currently underway and more and more set photos leaking onto the internet each day, we should hopefully have a clearer picture of what the Batmobile is doing in Toronto in the coming days. In the meantime, be sure to leave us your speculation and theories in the comments below.

Suicide Squad will hit theaters – along with the cool new Batmobile! – on August 5th, 2016.

Channing Tatum Confirms Gambit Will Be An Origin Story, But Not As We Know It !!!!

It cannot be denied that cinema is currently awash with superheroes, and is certain to stay that way for many years to come if studio release slate announcements are anything to go by. While the partnerships between Warner Bros. and DC, and Disney and Marvel respectively are uppermost in the minds of most fans, the reality of comic book film adaptations is less straight-forward, with different characters belonging to different studios.

For example, while the Marvel Cinematic Universe may be considered to have begun with Iron Man back in 2008, 20th Century Fox was way ahead of the game, enjoying success with an X-Men franchise – beginning in 2000. That franchise has so far generated seven movies, with a further six planned, including spinoff titles for Deadpool and Gambit.

The character of Gambit is a mutant with a heavy Cajun accent and a shadowy personal life. He first appeared in the Marvel comic books in Uncanny X-Men in 1990 – created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Jim Lee – and has the ability to create, manipulate and control pure kinetic energy as he sees fit. He can turn objects into explosive weapons with his mind and has a complex romantic involvement with the character of Rogue.

His appearance in the X-Men film franchise in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, saw him played by Taylor Kitsch but, as plans to give the character his own solo movie have taken shape, Fox has determined that the role will be played by Channing Tatum going forward. In a recent interview, Tatum discussed the project, and highlighted the fact that, while Gambit will be an origin story, its creative team is working hard to make it unlike any other.

“Josh Zetumer just turned in the first draft of the script, and it’s killer. None of us were sure how he was going to deal with the X-Men world. But we’re going to be changing some of the tropes of these movies. It’s always about saving the world [laughs], but maybe we’re going to shift things a little bit. There’s so many ways you can take [an origin story]. You could do it like Batman Begins, or a different take and go the Guardians Of The Galaxy route. All I can say is, I’m super excited.”

This is a refreshing approach, to say the least. While many fans bemoan the restrictions that rights issues place on the inclusion, or cinematic expansion, of certain characters (such as Hulk, for example), it is certainly the case that such issues create competition, and competition requires creative thinking. Add to this the fact that the initial treatment for the film came from Gambit creator Chris Claremont – on which Josh Zetumer’s script is reportedly based, and this Gambit solo project sounds very intriguing indeed.

Tatum also discussed Gambit himself – explaining his personal understanding of the character, and giving a glimpse of the kind of portrayal we can look forward to seeing.

“I love Gambit… I grew up in the South; my father’s from Louisiana. We’d go to New Orleans and I heard all the dialects. It felt so different from the rest of America; it has its own ancient culture. So I identified with that. And he always felt the most real of the X-Men to me. He’s kind of a tortured soul and he’s not a good guy. But he’s not a bad guy, either. He walks his own path. And of course, he plays cards and drinks and is a martial-arts badass!”

Gambit will be produced by Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Channing Tatum and Reid Carolin, although a director has yet to be announced. We should expect that reveal soon, however, as the film is set to be released on October 7th, 2016.

Johnny Depp Is Back In The Neighborhood In Black Mass Trailer !!!!!!

Hush, everyone, Johnny Depp is doing his best acting. After years of working as a professional punchline for the likes of Tim Burton (Dark Shadows) and David Koepp (Mortdecai), the A-lister is finally asserting his dramatic talents once more in this fall’s Black Mass, which finds him taking on the plum role of feared Boston gangster Whitey Bulger.

The Scott Cooper-directed crime saga centers on the sinister partnership between Bulger and FBI Agent John Connolly (Joel Edgerton), as they teamed up to take on the Italian mob in Boston in the 1970s. That alliance ultimately allowed Bulger to create a criminal empire from which he could rule the city, untouchably and with an iron fist.

Bulger is a horrifying figure, and it seems like Black Mass won’t skimp on depicting him as a nasty customer, but what’s really interesting here is the dark humor on display throughout the preview. A crime saga that doesn’t take itself too seriously is a rare beast indeed, so it will be interesting to see whether there will be comedic elements in the final cut.

Regardless, Cooper has assembled a dazzling array of talent that marks Black Mass as one of the fall’s most anticipated flicks. In addition to Depp and Edgerton, the film stars Dakota Johnson, Corey Stoll, Juno Temple, Peter Sarsgaard, Adam Scott, Benedict Cumberbatch, Kevin Bacon, Jesse Plemons, Sienna Miller and Rory Cochrane, among others.

Black Mass opens on September 18.

In 1970s South Boston, FBI Agent John Connolly (Joel Edgerton) persuades Irish mobster James “Whitey” Bulger (Johnny Depp) to collaborate with the FBI and eliminate a common enemy: the Italian mob. The drama tells the true story of this unholy alliance, which spiraled out of control, allowing Whitey to evade law enforcement, consolidate power, and become one of the most ruthless and powerful gangsters in Boston history.

‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ and ‘Suicide Squad’ Images: Animal-Controlling Mutants & Killer Croc !!!!!

The summer blockbuster period is upon us, which means that studios are already getting busy with production on next year’s summer blockbusters. Among them is X-Men: Apocalypse, the next entry in director Bryan Singer’s superhero prequel series, and David Ayer’s supervillain team-up film Suicide Squad, in which the bad guys and girls of the DC universe have to learn how to play nice.

Singer has already begun promoting X-Men: Apocalypse on Instagram with a photo of James McAvoy getting his head shaved to play Professor X, and another of a mysterious group of fighters wielding bows and arrows in the forest. The latter image confused a lot of people, since the soldiers(?) were wearing suits and ties with no distinct military markings.

One possibility is that the child in that image was a young mutant, and Singer has since shared another set photo from the same location shoot which could back up that theory. The image shows 1st AD Josh McLaglen wielding a crudely-drawn cutout of an owl on a stick, which Singer explains in the caption is a “a mutant guided incoming owl.”

One of the cap-wearing fighters can be seen just peeking in on the left edge of the image, confirming that this is from the same scene as the last set photo. One mutant from the comics with the ability to control animals is Lin Li, who lives at the X-Mansion after it becomes the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning, so Lin might be the child in the picture. Jean Grey (played by Sophie Turner) also has the ability to communicate with animals that possess high intelligence, but owls are pretty stupid even by bird standards.

‘Owl on a stick’ might sound like an unusual baseball game snack, but the cardboard cutout most likely serves the purpose of letting the actors know where they’re supposed to be looking during takes where a CGI owl will later be added. Often this is achieved using a tennis ball on a stick, but it seems like McLaglen wanted to go the extra mile.

Meanwhile, a new Suicide Squad set photo has emerged showing Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje in full costume as Killer Croc, courtesy of blogger Thalia Worldwide. This isn’t that much of a revelation, since the Killer Croc look already debuted in an official Suicide Squad cast photo, but it never hurts to see things from a different angle.

The photo does offer a first look at Killer Croc’s bare-chested look, revealing a torso that’s covered in grey scales (the make-up process must be pretty gruelling). The overall look resembles the more human version of Killer Croc from the comics, though Akinnuoye-Agbaje obviously isn’t quite as tall as his comic book counterpart.

We’ll keep an eye out for more set photos and news as production on X-Men: Apocalypse and Suicide Squad continues.

X-Men: Apocalypse will be in theaters on May 27th, 2016, followed by Suicide Squad August 5th, 2016.
