DC Release Batman #41 Preview Featuring The New Batsuit !!!!

DC Comics has released a preview of Batman #41, due out on Wednesday.

The issue, written by Scott Snyder with art by Greg Capullo & Danny Miki, sees the debut of the all-new Batman.

Here's how DC describes the issue:

Who is he, and what happens next? As Gotham finds itself being trampled by a bio-electric energy-being, does this new mechancial Batman have the gumption it takes to don the mantle of the Bat and save the day? Find out in an all new BATMAN #41.

"We talked to DC about maybe even calling the book 'All New Batman' because of how incredibly different things are going to be," series writer Scott Snyder said in an interview with DC's website, "This is one of those storylines that spins the entire mythology around. When you get to the other side, I think you will be pretty surprised and hopefully be like, 'I can’t believe these guys are going there!'"

A Closer Look At The All-New, All-Different Marvel Characters

Matt Wilson, a colorist for Marvel who worked on the just-released All-New, All-Different Marvel posters, has released a series of stand-alone images featuring the characters who appeared on those teaser posters.
The figures, drawn by incoming Iron Man writer David Marquez, were mashed together to create the two posters, but in many cases some of the costume details and such were lost to the crowd shot. Here, the character portraits give a better look at the heroes as they will appear post-Secret Wars.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Says Black Adam Would Crush Black Bolt

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (San Andreas) loves to tease his Furious 7 co-star and off-screen buddy Vin Diesel whenever he gets the opportunity and MTV UK is the latest outlet to give him that chance.
They asked The Rock if Black Adam, the super-villain that he'll play in the DC Cinematic Universe, would beat Black Bolt, an Inhumans role that Vin Diesel is rumored to be up for. The Rock is confident that Black Adam would "crush" Black Bolt, but then again he's not familiar with the Marvel character.

How Mick Jagger Explained the ‘Dirtiest Line’ in ‘Satisfaction’ !!!

The Rolling Stones (L-R: Bill Wyman, Brian Jones, Keith Richards, Mick Jagger, Charlie Watts) in 1963

When the now-classic Rolling Stones song “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” was released a half-century ago this weekend, TIME barely noticed. It wasn’t until September that the single got a quick mention on the listings page, the weekly round-up of what was new in TV, movies and music. “The Stones manage to sing with nervous intensity and snigger at the same time,” the critic noted in the three-sentence capsule review.

By the time the song was next mentioned, in 1966, it had sold 4.5 million copies. But not everyone was happy about that. The reason it had come up was as part of a trend story about how radio DJs were dealing with the fact that rock music, using the mysterious trick of “hip teen talk,” was sneaking inappropriate language onto the airwaves. When it wasn’t clear just what a singer was saying, how were DJ’s to know what was OK to play? Case in point: The ‘Satisfaction’ line about “trying to make some girl.” Some stations bleeped it; some didn’t play the song; some insisted that singer Mick Jagger wasn’t enunciating well enough for them to know what to do.

Bendis & Marquez to Relaunch "Invincible Iron Man" Under All-New, All-Different Marvel !!!!

CBR's Brett White has an update direct from Marvel's "Next Big Thing" panel at Special Edition: NYC, with Brian Michael Bendis talking the newly announced "Invincible Iron Man" series he's writing, to be illustrated by David Marquez.

"He's getting new armor, a new girlfriend, new villains, a whopper of a last page and thanks to Kieron Gillen who revealed that Tony Stark is adopted, we're going to find out who Tony's biological parents are -- and I'm gonna tell you right now, they are Thomas and Martha Wayne," Bendis told the crowd. "This new armor design has new cool things that it does, including -- you know how Tony has 20-30 armors that show up? This one can turn into all of them."

Bendis also confirmed that his Iron Man is 100 percent Tony Stark. "Everything that has happened to Tony is in continuity and will be reflected in the new series."

Marvel's first post-"Secret Wars" series has been revealed: "Invincible Iron Man," featuring the creative team of writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist David Marquez. The news was set to be revealed Saturday at Marvel's "Next Big Thing" panel during Special Edition: NYC in New York City.

Bendis and Marquez have worked together extensively in the past, on "Ultimate Comics Ultimate Spider-Man" and "Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man" -- both starring breakout character Miles Morales -- and issues of "All-New X-Men." This is the first time either of them have worked on an Iron Man solo book, though Bendis wrote Iron Man for years during his eight-year run on the "Avengers" titles and more recently in "Guardians of the Galaxy."

The specific title "Invincible Iron Man" has been used since the 1960s, most recently for Matt Fraction and Salvador Larroca's acclaimed run on Tony Stark from 2008 to 2012 -- a run that began the same month as the release of Marvel Studios' first "Iron Man" film, which helped catapult the character to the major pop culture prominence.

Iron Man was the focal point of two teaser images (illustrated by Marquez and Matt Wilson) released earlier this week promoting "All-New, All-Different Marvel," the name for the publisher's upcoming line-wide refresh following the conclusion of the universe-altering "Secret Wars" event. Under the new initiative, Marvel plans to launch new #1s for all of its Marvel Universe series -- around 55 to 60, over a span of three to four months starting this fall.

Though changes to the familiar Marvel Universe have been promised, Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso was clear in his weekly AXEL-IN-CHARGE Q&A with CBR that All-New, All-Different Marvel is not a reboot, and that existing readers will recognize the post-"Secret Wars" Marvel Universe. Keep reading CBR all weekend long for more from Special Edition: NYC..

Stephen King's The Dark Tower Looking At Nikolaj Arcel To Direct !!!!

Sony is looking to sign Nikolaj Arcel to direct the first film based on Stephen King’s The Dark Tower series of novels. According to the report, negotiations will soon begin between the studio and the director.

Arcel co-scripted The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and has directed films such as A Royal Affair.

The film will be just one part of Sony Entertainment’s attempt to adapt King’s epic series, which follows the gunslinger Roland Deschain. There’s also a companion television series in the works.

The Dark Tower has been in some form of development for many years, jumping from Legendary to Warner Bros. before most recently landing with Sony. Production has had many false starts in the past, which is understandable for an epic of such breadth. Hopefully this one sticks.

Former NBA star Chris Gatling arrested for credit card fraud .. Totally Sad !!!!!!

For this one-time NBA all-star, it was a steal!

New Jersey native and former Nets player Chris Gatling has been arrested on fraud charges in Arizona.

The 11-year NBA veteran who last played in 2002 was busted Thursday by Scottsdale police after unearthing a credit card and ID theft scheme.

Gatling, 47, from Elizabeth, N.J., duped a fitness studio owner who he met on a dating site into charging credit cards and fronting him 90 percent of the money in cash, TMZ reported.

The woman allegedly kept 10 percent of the unauthorized purchases for herself, saddling the fitness studio with $90,000 in debt that eventually forced it to close, police said.

Gatling ran his illicit business from a Phoenix call center, collecting card numbers through several internet businesses and then billing victims for unauthorized services, according to FOX Phoenix.

Police collared Gatling, who made nearly $30 million over the course of his pro career, while he was meeting with his probation officer from his 2013 conviction when he squatted in an Arizona home and then listed it for rent on Craigslist.
