The film's second weekend earnings fall just short of Sunday's box office estimate of $52.4 million. Initial estimates predicted a 60% drop, as blockbusters generally fall around 50% in their second weekend, but the report notes that this is a particularly steep dive and the sharpest decline on a major film featuring Batman or Superman.
